After months of hard work, we are happy to announce the immediate availability of CommerceBird 3.0 with full WooCommerce MCP support. The beta is available on https://app.commercebird.eu for all Business and Premium users. All users will get a default AI Credit limit every month, which can be expanded easily via the app. This allows you to “talk” to your store like you would with Claude or ChatGPT. You can ask questions like:

Show me the low stock products and recommend me the new stock level for each item in the same table.
Create a Quote for John Adams with the product “XY Screwdriver” – quantity 200 and apply a 15% discount on it.
How is my store performing compared to last year?
And much more!

Starting in version 2.7.7 you can assign any country or a region (e.g. EU) to a particular location of Zoho Inventory. This means that if the shipping country of the customer is from the selected country, that order will be sent to that warehouse location. You can access this feature from the “Orders” tab in our plugin settings.

You have been asking for this feature for quite some time, but we couldn’t wait any longer for Zoho to officially support guest orders. Instead, we decided to take matters into our hands and find a way to support guest orders. Luckily, this became possible as we did major improvements and refactoring during the year, this gave us the opportunity to ensure guest orders are also synced.

We are happy to announce the immediate support for guest orders for Zoho Inventory integration. All you need to do is update the plugin to latest version. That is all!

Starting today with version 3.2.10, we have migrated the Zoho CRM Integration to the WP Plugin.

Why the migration?

As some of you have experienced, the Zoho SDK provided by Zoho was quite unstable and broke the connection a few times a month unexpectedly and without providing useful error messages. We even had several calls with the Zoho engineers to sort this out, as we thought it was our fault. It turned out, the SDK is far from maturity and has deep architectural errors that could not be resolved by the Zoho team.

For these reasons, we decided to create our own PHP SDK, one unified modern SDK that is also used by the Zoho Inventory integration recently. This is a lightweight SDK built upon the latest WordPress Coding Standards and WooCommerce best practices for integrations. Its the most powerful piece of software we have built so far.

After months of hard work by our team, we have managed to successfully make the plugin available on wordpress.org! We are now officially vetted by the WordPress team after a very strict process where very line of code was checked based on security, performance and best coding standards. This resulted in lots of updates in last few months. If you experienced issues with this, we apologise sincerely.

How do I switch over?

Simply update the plugin via the regular WP Updates page, it will automatically update it to the version on wordpress.org. That is all! 🙂

Create native Woo Purchase Orders directly from the App and choose your source; WooCommerce, Zoho Inventory or Exact Online. If you choose one of the last two, then your PO’s will be directly created in that chosen platform. This means you can view, create and manage all your Woo, Exact and Zoho PO’s directly in CommerceBird, no longer need to keep multiple browser tab’s open!

Our team is excited to announce the immediate availability of the sync between Zoho Inventory / Books to Exact Online. This allows you to sync your Zoho Orders as Sales Orders or as Invoices to Exact Online (or both). How to connect the two? Read all the steps here.

Our team is happy to announce that the Zoho CRM API migration from v2 to v5 has completed successfully! Soon we will allow you to sync much more data to your Zoho CRM as we will move the custom fields mapping to the WP assistance plugin. Some of the upcoming features:

Using our Zoho CRM Integration? Starting today, you will receive an email notification for each order that was not synced due to issues in Zoho or missing order data. Furthermore, we have improved the sync of Sales Orders from WooCommerce to Zoho to ensure orders get synced to Zoho CRM for various scenarios.

Work easier and longer behind the screen with our Dark Mode feature. Simply select it via the profile menu and enjoy an even calmer store management experience.

We are happy to introduce the all new Product Edit page. Completely redesigned and rewritten based on more than 100 users feedback. The new product page allows you to manage products much more efficiently in an intuitive way.

The product page is redesigned based on 3 principles:

Aside from this we have released a number of important bugfixes in the last few weeks for the Zoho CRM integration and Exact Online integration.

Our WooCommerce Assistance Plugin is now available via the My-Account page on CommerceBird.com. Simply go to API-Downloads to get the plugin, then use the API key which can be copied from the API-Keys tab. This plugin allows you to upload product images to your store via our platform and much more.

We are proud to release the support for WooCommerce Subscriptions Products. Starting today, you can also manage simple and variable subscription products directly on CommerceBird! You might ask, what about managing the actual subscriptions? That is also on our roadmap but we cannot give an ETA at this moment. Want to stay updated on new features? Starting today, you can map your WooCommerce Order Statuses to the Exact Online Payment Conditions via Integrations > Exact Online > Settings. This ensures the invoices get paid the way that your company prefers it.

Using custom fields on Sales Orders? Those are now visible on the Order View page if you are using plugins like ACF or Checkout Field Editor for WooCommerce. In addition, you can now edit the customer directly from the Order View page!

Starting today you can view the product addons on the Order Detail page, also known as line items metadata. We have also added the payment method column to the orders listing page, making it easier to filter orders based on the used payment method.

One of the most requested feature is finally here; the Logging page of integrations to show the sync errors. Go to Settings > Logs to see what hasn’t synced and why. This allows you to add the missing data in the Order so it gets synced to that particular integration (zoho crm, exact online, etc.).

A few weeks ago we launched the Exact Online for WooCommerce integration. We are excited to launch today some major improvements to this integration:

New: syncing of Orders as Sales Orders to Exact
New: syncing of Bank Account and Mandate to Exact (requires ACF plugin)
Support for manually created Orders in WooCommerce
Log Email to your email address in case of Sync Error!

Now you can manage your Webhooks directly from CommerceBird. This is useful if you are using one of our integrations.

The CommerceBird Team is proud to present the immediate availability of the certified Exact Online Integration for three datacenters: Netherlands, Belgium and France. This is built on our Enterprise graded server architecture and stack, also used by companies like Amazon, Bol.com and Nike.

This first release allows you to sync:

Customers as Accounts and Contact person
Orders as Invoices (incl Guest Orders)
Products as Items

In addition, you can do mapping of the following settings:

We have improved the fields mapping table layout for the Zoho CRM integration as per feedback from you, our customers. Thank you for the suggested improvement!

Product Gallery is now skipping items that have no thumbnails as per WordPress API rule. This avoids blank spaces and improves the performance of getting all images drastically.

We have added a new search bar on Orders, Customers and Products to search without limits. Find any order if you have thousands of orders in your store.
